Dural venous sinus thrombosis

Above knee amputation, hypercalcaemia, leg DVT.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male

Discrete filling defect in the superior sagittal sinus consistent with a thrombus. Subsequently shown to resolve on the MR venogram.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates the empty delta sign of a superior sagittal sinus thrombus.
