Presentation

Significant head trauma.

Large acute subdural hemorrhage over the left cerebral hemisphere with additional blood seen tracking along the falx. Hemorrhagic contusions can also be seen involving the right temporal and frontal poles.

Marked midline shift and transtentorial herniation (poorly demonstrated) is present with hemorrhage seen within the pontomesencephalic junction consistent with a duret hemorrhage.
