63 years old female patient with syncope and left facial numbness.

Patient Data

Age: 63
Gender: Female
MRI

Right cerebral hemiatrophy. Remarkable thickening of the skull vault, enlargement of right part of frontal and sphenoidal sinuses and and elevated right petrous ridge.

Case Discussion

The brain MRI findings demonstrate characteristics of Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome:

  • cerebral hemiatrophy
  • thickenning of skull vault
  • enlargement of sinuses
