Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET)

Cortical based lesion, measuring approx. 23 x 27 x 23mm (AP x TD x CC) is seen in left frontal lobe with areas of gyral expansion. It is nearly reaching upto frontal horn of left lateral ventricle with no obvious mass effect. Lesion appears heterogeneously hyperintense on T2 with multiple tiny cystic areas within and incomplete suppression on FLAIR images. Post contrast study shows minimal enhancement. No significant perilesional edema is seen.
