Dysgenesis of the corpus callosum

The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- diffuse thinning of the corpus callosum
- parallel bodies of the lateral ventricles
- dilatation of the trigones and occipital horns mainly on the right (colpocephaly) giving a "teardrop" configuration on axial sequences
- small frontal horns
- widening of the interhemispheric fissure
- dilated high-riding 3rd ventricle
- sunray appearance of the gyri on the sagittal T1
- dilated superior ceebellar cistern
