Presentation

Patient came with a recurrent episode of syncope associated with the feeling of tightening around the right side of neck, weakness, difficulty in breathing during syncopal episodes.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

The styloid processes are elongated on both sides and exceed more than 3 cm, here approximately measuring 4.2 cm. 

Case Discussion

Eagle syndrome representing elongation of the styloid process, when it more than 3 cm, it became symptomatic and causing neurovascular compromise on the cranial nerves and carotid vessels.
