Case Discussion

Case of bilateral elongated styloid processes.

The clinical symptoms when they occur are due to nerve compression, and then it is called Eagle syndrome.

Can also occur due to calcification of stylohyoid ligament.

Skull x-rays as a method of assessment are infrequently used due to the availability and advantages of CT.

Multiplanar reconstructions (MPR) on CT are helpful in imaging.
