Acute right knee pain, mild local tenderness, redness and hotness

Patient Data

Age: 43
Gender: Female

 Single rounded hyper-echoic spot at the middle zone of intercondylar cartilage of the right femur.

 

Case Discussion

Synovial fluid analysis revealed rhomboid crystals which are  weakly positive birefringent under compensated polarized light. Diagnosis: Early CPPD
