Presented to Opthalmology Clinic with right inferior quadrantanopia. No history of trauma. No signs or symptoms of systemic disease.

Oval density in the posterior chamber of the right globe which appears to be lens dislocation, as the normal lens is not present in situ.
Case Discussion
The most common causes of lens dislocation is trauma.1
Marfan syndrome is the most common cause of heritable lens dislocation. Homocystinuria is the second most common cause of heritable lens dislocation.2
Given this patient's history of no trauma and no signs or symptoms of systemic disease, the most likely etiologies for this presentation are unlikely. Currently awaiting further ophthalmology follow-up to determine cause and treatment.
