Case Discussion
Ectopic pregnancy is any pregnancy implantation outside of the uterine cavity and can be tubal (95%) or non-tubal (5%). This is a life-threatening diagnosis.
Transabdominal and transvaginal sonography improves the detection rate and reduces or avoids misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. Correlation with Serum beta-hCG is very important for a positive diagnosis.
