Ectopically erupted tooth in the left maxillary sinus with a horizontal lie and underlying focal osseous dehiscence. The maxilla is otherwise edentulous. Mild mucosal thickening of both maxillary sinuses.
Case Discussion
This ectopic tooth is clearly long-standing. Extraction of this tooth may lead to the formation of an oro-antral fistula if the underlying osseous dehiscence is not recognized and treated.
