Presentation

Known congenital heart defect, Dyspnea, cyanosis, hemoptysis. CT performed to rule out pulmonary embolism.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Transposition of the great arteries (TGA). Dilatation of the pulmonary arteries with abrupt change in diameter due to pulmonary hypertension. Rudimentary ventricular septum (functional cor uniloculare biatriatum). Delicate thoracic aorta.
