Presentation

Hematospermia. PSA 3.8.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

The prostate gland measures 5.4 x 4.1 x 4.1 cm giving an approximate volume of 47 mL. The transition zone displays mild hypertrophy. The peripheral zone has no suspicious lesions. In the midline of the peripheral zone there is an ejaculatory duct cyst, measuring up to 1.6 cm. Dependent T2 hypointensity may represent inspissated secretions or a calculus. The seminal vesicles are normal. There are no abnormal lymph nodes identified. The bones of the pelvis are normal.
