Bilateral mixed soft tissue and fat-containing masses deep to the latissimus dorsi and serratus anterior muscles and the scapulae, measuring 3 x 4 x 7 cm on the left and 2.5 x 3 x 5 cm on the right (transverse, AP and craniocaudal diameters respectively). Attenuation of the fatty areas measured - 85 HU.
Case Discussion
Examination revealed palpable masses in both infrascapular regions which corresponded with the CT findings of non-encapsulated oval fat-containing masses compatible with elastofibroma dorsi.
