Encapsulated thymoma (gross pathology)

Encapsulated thymoma (mixed lymphocytic and epithelial thymoma = Type AB).

A bottle-shaped tumor is encapsulated and shows a bulging, rather homogeneous, faintly lobulated ivory-colored cut surface.
