Follow-up x-ray demonstrates a sclerotic lesion in the greater trochanter with well-defined borders, rings and arc calcifications, and without endosteal scalloping, bone destructive, calcified periosteal reaction or other aggressive features.
Case Discussion
Typical findings of an enchondroma on the x-ray after an abnormality was seen on the DEXA. DEXA images, while not diagnostic, can demonstrate incidental pathology.
