Presentation

Left middle finger pain for 5 days. Past medical history: diabetes type II, hypertension, dyslipidemia for 3 years

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

The distal phalanx of the left middle finger shows an expansile lytic lesion measuring about 8.1 x 9.3 x 9.6 mm with soft tissue swelling.

The rest of the bones under view appear normal.

Case Discussion

The distal phalanx of the left middle finger shows an expansile lytic lesion with soft tissue swelling which is compatible with enchondroma.
