There is an expansile, lytic lesion of the first metacarpal containing amorphous matrix calcifications
There is no pathologic fracture.

A high T2 signal medullary cavity lesion measuring about 17*36 mm that expands the body and base of the first metacarpal
A few signal void foci are seen within the lesion due to calcification.
Cortical destruction, periosteal reaction as well as soft tissue components are not seen.
Case Discussion
Features are typical of a low-grade chondral lesion, almost certainly an enchondroma.
