A well defined, anechoic cystic lesion with some internal septations and echoes along the left inguinal canal. The cyst is neither freely communicating with the peritoneal cavity nor with the tunica vaginalis. Left testis is separately visualized from the cyst.
Case Discussion
An encysted hydrocele, also called spermatic cord hydrocele, spermatic cord cyst or cyst of cord, is a collection of loculated fluid along the spermatic cord. It is separated from and located above the testis and the epididymis without communication with the peritoneal cavity.
