The MRI sequences demonstrate an ovoid mass within the endometrial cavity of intermediate signal on T1WI, iso-to slightly hyperintense to the myometrium on T2WI with moderate and heterogeneous enhancement (less than normal endometrium) on postcontrast sequences and restricted diffusion on DWI/ADC. The deep myometrial invasion is well-visualised on the postcontrast dynamic sequence as well as the delayed-phase images with cervical stromal invasion.

Minimal effusion is noted in Douglas pouch.

No pelvic lymphadenopathy is seen.

Case Discussion

MRI features are suggestive of an endometrial tumour (probably endometrial carcinoma).
