Endometrial polyp

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Nearly continuous PV bleeding for last 2-3 months.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

There appears to be a large echogenic lesion in the endometrial cavity. A thin fluid rim is noted separating the lesion from the endometrial lining at a few places. Cystic changes are noted within this echogenic lesion. 

Uterine myometrium shows normal echopattern. Both ovaries are normal. No adnexal mass lesion is noted on either side.

Case Discussion

Findings very much favor presence of an endometrial polyp.
