Left adnexal lesion shows high T1 signal on fat suppressed sequence, T2 dark spot sign and T2 shading.
Right adnexal lesion shows high T1 signal on fat suppressed sequence, and T2 shading with elongated lobular appearance, suggestive of hematosalpinx.
Minimal fluid is seen in vesicouterine pouch.
Case Discussion
MRI study shows left endometrioma; with shading and T2 dark spot signs. Right hematosalpinx is also noted with the same features and MRI signals as endometrioma. There is a reported association by endometrioma and hematosalpinx.
