mri

A left adnexal well-defined multilocular cystic lesion. It elicits bright T1, intermediate T2 signals with thin separations. No drop of signals in the fat saturated images and mildly enhancing wall. No enhancing mural nodules.

Another smaller two smaller lesion seen at the left adnexal region largest measuring about 2.5 x 3 cm, and displaying fluid signals, in keeping with ovarian follicle/follicular cysts.

Multiple variable sized small cysts are seen around the lower cervix/external os.

Minimal pelvic fluid.

Case Discussion

Left adnexal cystic lesion with MRI signal of blood products; in keeping with an endometrioma.

Multiple variable sized small cysts are seen related to the cervix, picture suggestive of cystic cervicitis, which carries a differential diagnosis of adenoma malignum if there is an associated enhancing solid component.
