Case Discussion

The round ligament attaches to the anterolateral uterine fundus below the fallopian tubes. It courses through the inguinal canal and terminates in the labium majorum. The endometriotic lesions involves round ligaments in up to 14% of cases. Thus, a systematic radiologic assessment of these ligaments is very important.
