Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Long segment targetoid inflammation of the ileum. Small ascites. 

Case Discussion

Patient had known diagnosis of eosinophilic gastroenteritis previously confirmed by elevated blood eosinophilia and biopsies of the esophagus and stomach. This pattern of inflammation can overlap with Crohn disease, angioedema (related to ACE-I) and vasculitis.
