Presentation
Pain and swelling of the right hand after fall 2 hours prior. Right hand shows mild swelling, hotness, and tenderness over the base of the right thumb on clinical examination.

Fracture in the base of the first right metacarpal without intraarticular extension.
Mild to moderate displacement.
Case Discussion
Fracture in the base of the first metacarpal without intraarticular extension(pseudo-Bennett fracture).
The most common pattern of thumb fractures is extraarticular epibasal fracture.
