Cystic lesion measuring approx. 5.7 x 6.7 x 8.5 mm (AP X TD X CC) is seen along dorsolateral aspect of head of middle phalanx of 2nd digit (index finger). It appears hyperintense on T2 and shows diffusion restriction. It is abutting adjacent cortex of head of middle phalanx and abutting, displacing terminal extensor tendon medially.
No obvious erosions / marrow edema seen in middle phalanx.
Visualized flexor tendon and volar plates are unremarkable
Overall above findings suggest likelihood of epidermal inclusion cyst at dorsolateral aspect of head of middle phalanx of 2nd digit (index finger).
