Presentation
Complaining of upper anterior abdominal wall painless swelling for a few years.
Patient Data
There is a well-defined lesion abutting the undersurface of the skin of the anterior abdominal wall on the left side of the epigastric region. The lesion shows relatively homogeneous mild hypoechoic echopattern. There is no cystic spaces/ calcification/ vascularity in the lesion. Posterior acoustic enhancement is present. Underlying anterior abdominal wall muscle shows normal echopattern.
Case Discussion
A young adult patient presented with anterior abdominal wall painless swelling for the last few years. Ultrasound features favor an unruptured epidermal inclusion cyst of the anterior abdominal wall. However, there is no histopathology follow up of the lesion.
