Epidermoid cyst - cerebellopontine angle

Presentation

Headache.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

An extra-axial fluid density SOL is present at right CPA, measured 67×53×48 mm in diameters. Mass effect on 4th ventricle, cerebellum & brain stem is present and causes three ventricular hydrocephalus. No adjacent bony erosion is evident. 

There is an extraaxial SOL at right CAP. The mass is high signal on T2W sequence, heterogeneous on FLAIR images and hyposignal on T1W exam, shows no enhancement on post contrast exam. Some restricted diffusion is seen within the mass on DWI.
Three ventricular hydrocephalus is resulted
