Epidermoid cyst - prepontine

MRI demonstrates a small region in the pre-pontine cistern with distortion of basilar and vessels which are elevated away from the brainstem. It closely follows CSF on all sequences except DWI which demonstrates increased signal (combination of T2 shine through and restricted diffusion).
Features are near-pathognomonic with an epidermoid cyst.
