Presentation

History of dysuria and enlargement of his left scrotum for about 2 months now. Local examination: bulging and tenderness of the left scrotum.

The left epididymis appears thickened and hyperemic, with an adjacent hypoechoic area containing septations and internal echoes (suspected abscess).
