A large lentiform shaped hematoma that does not cross the cranial sutures is noted at the left parietal lobe, causing significant midline shift and entrapment hydrocephalus. An overlying left parietal bone fracture can be seen on the bone window.
Other findings include:
- scalp edema overlying the left parietal area
- bilateral temporal intraparenchymal bleeds
- left parietal intraparenchymal bleed
Typical appearance of a large epidural hematoma with an associated overlying skull fracture.
