Esophagogastroduodenal contrasted x-ray series show a small right diverticulum near the esophagogastric junction.

Prominent tertiary contractions.

Endoscopy images show the diverticulum ostium right sided to esophagogastric junction.

Case Discussion

Epiphrenic diverticula are pulsion diverticula of the distal oesophagus arising just above the lower esophageal sphincter, more frequently on the right side.
