Epiphrenic diverticulum

Large wide necked diverticulum arising several centimeters proximal to the GEJ. The rest of esophagus appears normal. No filling defect is identified.
Case Discussion
Features are typical for epiphrenic diverticulum which is pulsion diverticulum of the distal esophagus arising just above the lower esophageal sphincter, more frequently on the right posterolateral wall.
