Low grade pain in left iliac fossa - 2 days. No shifting of pain. No bowel/bladder disturbance.

At the point of pain directed by patient, there is an echogenic mass lesion abutting and causing mass effect on the colon. No vascularity / calcification / fluid cleft noted in the lesion. No colonic wall thickening is noted. No colonic diverticulum seen locally.
No dilatation of small bowel loops seen.
No other abnormality is noted on ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
Case Discussion
Ultrasound findings favor epiploic appendagitis.
