40 year old woman presenting with elevated liver enzymes.

Age: 40
Gender: Female

The epiploic appendices of the sigmoid and upper rectum are normally invisible on CT, unless they are affected by disease. In this patient with ascites due to a liver condition, they are nicely depicted, surrounded by fluid.
