Presentation
Progressive painless swelling of the dorsal aspect of the left forefoot.
Patient Data
Large relatively well-circumscribed soft tissue mass of the dorsal aspect of the left forefoot of subaponeurotic location with deep extension, in contact with the extensor digitorum tendons from the 2nd to the 4th digit with no significant interdigital extension. It elicits a low signal on T1, high signal on T2 and STIR with areas of restricted diffusion and vivid heterogeneous enhancement on post-contrast sequences.
Case Discussion
MRI features of an enhancing soft tissue mass of the dorsal aspect of the forefoot.
The patient went to have a resection of the tumour with a histopathological exam that confirms the diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma.
