Presentation

Unable to move upper or lower arm and hand from the shoulder as well as numbness of the arm.

Patient Data

Age: 6 years
Gender: Female
ct

Asymmetric right shoulder girdle muscle volume secondary to atrophy.

Posterior dislocation of the right shoulder. The humeral head epiphysis is small and irregular. 

Signs of glenoid dysplasia evident by truncation of the posterior bony glenoid and indistinct margin are visible.

Elongated coracoid process on the right.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates the chronic denervation sequel of Erb's palsy with right shoulder girdle muscular, osseous and soft tissue atrophic changes.
