The yellow ovals indicate some of the gastric antral erosions.
Case Discussion
Longstanding NSAID use (in this case, for migraine headaches) predisposes a patient to antral gastritis, and in this patient small oval lucencies in the gastric antrum are compatible with antral gastritis and mucosal erosions. Since the lucencies are small (2-3 mm), the term "erosion" is favored; larger lucencies are usually termed "ulcers."
A follow up upper endoscopy confirmed the findings.
