A degenerative pattern of arthritis affects the DIP and PIP joints of all the fingers and the DIP joints of both thumbs. There are a few erosions and the PIP joints demonstrated a "gullwing appearance". Findings are consistent with an erosive osteoarthritis.
Case Discussion
Erosive osteoarthritis is a seronegative arthropathy that typically presents in postmenopausal females.
