Distal esophageal and gastro-esophageal junction thickening, irregularity, and increased enhancement. Gastrohepatic ligament adenopathy.
Case Discussion
Typical findings of a biopsy-proven distal esophageal adenocarcinoma with masslike thickening and irregularity of the esophagus and the typical pattern of nodal spread to the gastrohepatic ligament, between the lesser gastric curvature and liver edge. The nodal disease helps you to be very confident about your assessment of malignancy.
