Dysphagia to solids.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Shelf-like filling defect is seen at the anterior aspect of the upper cervical esophagus associated with distended hypopharynx.

Cricopharyngeal bar is also seen as a smooth posterior indentation at the level of cricopharyngeus muscle.

Case Discussion

Esophageal webs are mucosal projection into esophageal lumen that are common at the cervical esophagus and may be associated with dysphagia.
