ETT down right main bronchus (fractures)

The ETT is down the right main bronchus and there has been complete collapse of the left lung. Note multiple healed rib fractures bilaterally.

The ETT has been retracted, the lung has reinflated but the rib fractures are now less evident.
Case Discussion
The ETT has been retracted and the lung has re-expanded (the importance of timely recognition of malplacement). Bilateral rib fractures can been seen - they are old with callus around them.
