Presentation
Right wrist pain on the ulnar side since 5 months ago.
Patient Data
Split, subluxed extensor carpi ulnaris (ECU)tendon and surrounding fluid at the level of ulna styloid and triangular fibrocartilage complex
The ECU subsheath is diffusely fragmented
Radioscaphoid joint effusion
Bilobed fluid equivalent signal synovial cyst measuring about 9*13 mm originated from the triquetrum-pisiform joint space.
Case Discussion
Middle age women presented with the non-traumatic onset of right wrist pain on the ulnar aspect. MRI findings suggest extensor carpi ulnaris tendinosis with surrounding edematous changes of the tendon sheath reflecting tenosynovitis.
