Complete cut injury involving the middle finger extensor digitorum communis tendon distal portion
The proximal torn end is near the 3rd metacarpal mid diaphysis level
Distal torn end is at the level of 3rd metacarpal neck
The gap between torn ends is about 12 mm.
Case Discussion
This patient presented with a recent history of a cut injury to the dorsum of the right hand followed by a loss of middle finger extension after every flexion movement.
