Complete cut injury involving the middle finger extensor digitorum communis tendon distal portion at the level of the 3rd metacarpophalangeal joint.
The gap between the torn proximal and distal ends is about 4 mm.
Case Discussion
This patient presented with a recent history of a cut injury to the dorsum of the right hand followed by a loss of middle finger extension after every flexion movement.
