Extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma

Asymptomatic hypertensive patient.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

A 3.6 x 3.2 x 1.8 cm oval flattened well defined homogenously enhancing SOL is seen anterior to the left renal vein.


Case Discussion

Features are consistent with extra adrenal pheochromocytoma.

Patient had elevated VMA levels, and a positive MIBG scan which confirmed the diagnosis.
