There is a small lobulated left facial soft tissue mass measuring (36 x 27 x 23 mm) surrounding partially the zygomatic bone and extending to the masseter muscle. It displays an intermediate signal on T1, high signal on T2/T2 GE with punctate areas of low signal (phleboliths). The postcontrast dynamic sequences show progressive enhancement with a heterogeneous fill-in on delayed sequences.
Case Discussion
MRI features are most consistent with soft tissue hemangioma.
