Well-defined lobulated soft tissue mass of the left facial region, located anterior to the masseter muscle, posterior to the zygomaticus major muscle, lateral to the maxilla and inferolateral to the maxillary sinus. It displays an isosignal to muscle on T1, high signal on T2 and T2 fat sat with restricted diffusion. The post-contrast dynamic sequences show a progressive enhancement with almost fill-in on delayed sequences.

Peripheral mucosal thickening of the maxillary sinuses with partial opacification of the ethmoid air cells is noted.
