Markedly dilated rectum and sigmoid colon showing mild mural thickening, of maximum dilatation about 11.5 cm, seen with impacted fecal matter. An extra looping of sigmoid colon is also noted. However no evidence of mechanical obstruction or extraluminal gas seen so no stercoral perforation.
Case Discussion
CT shows large fecaloma in the rectum with associated stercoral colitis.
